How we turn your words into text

We take quality very seriously at Jott, which is why we have so many satisfied customers. We often get asked, though, "how are you so accurate?".

After you record a voice message with Jott using the phone-based service (or the iPhone and BlackBerry apps), we get started transcribing it. First we send your recording through an automated speech recognition (ASR) engine. Then, messages that we think might need a little extra care are passed along to our quality assurance professionals to be cleaned up.

Our quality assurance teams work in clean environments, the same type of environments that medical and legal professionals use for transcription of highly confidential materials. After your message has passed through QA, it gets delivered to you, your contact or group, or the Jott Link you specified. Curious about all of this?
