Natural down is recognized as an excellent thermal insulator in very cold temperatures. The small feathers have a light, supple structure and high loft. Their physical properties enable them to retain body heat and form a pocket of warm air around the body.

All our down comforters are made from responsible down, sourced from farms that respect animal welfare. At JOTT, all our fillings are made from down or ethical feathers certified "RDS" (responsible down standard). This label reflects our concern for animal welfare and the traceability of the feathers we use.

Synthetic lining

Synthetic fillings are made from synthetic fibers such as polyester. This more recent material offers a number of innovative technological properties, and is mainly used in cold-weather down jackets.
