Which down jacket for which season?

How to measure your dog

It's not just the length of your dog's back that counts, but also the circumference of his neck. This will make your dog's walks more pleasant. Here again, allow for a little margin (but not too much) when taking his measurements.

Don't forget to measure his chest. This is the widest part of Marley's chest, just after the front legs. As with the other two measurements, you need to be precise, but leave a little margin. Then choose the right size for him. You don't want to restrict his movements. By the way, it would be a real shame to buy a super JOTT dog jacket... too small...

Some examples of dog clothes sizes: 

• Doggies weighing less than 5 kg (Yorkshire or Chihuahua) wear XS ;
• Dogs between 5 and 10 kg (Jack Russel or Maltese) wear S ;
• Dogs weighing between 10 and 15 kg wear M (Bulldog or Pug);
• Dogs between 15 and 25 kg (Cocker, Beagle) require L ;
• Dogs over 25 kg (Golden Retriever, Bull Terrier) wear XL.

Weight isn't everything. Measurements (back, neck, chest) also influence coat size.
